Old School Jam Of the Day #7

So......I randomly remembered a song by this artist and I managed to tie him into this leadership theme.
E40 is the ambassador of the bay and one of the originals in the bay area/hyphy movement.
Although it was short lived, there is something that can be taken away.
All successful leaders have experienced more failures. Its the only way to grow and get better.
Keep on keepin in.
Now time for the ear-favor:

I cant post bay music without including the team so today is a double feature:

Have a great week!

Old School Jam Of the Day #7

For Sundays OSJD, the consensus on board is that we need some mellow tunage and the crew has been saying I have been favoring r&b/hip hop too much! As the captain, it is my job to keep the crew focused and motivated and I cant afford another mutiny, so without further ado:

who remembers this group?
Your welcome for this one :)

Diving into the depths of the Archetype Abyss....the WHO WHAT & WHY?

After taking the PMAI assessment and reviewing my archetypes and shadow archetypes, I thought to myself "So What!?".
I had a hard time understanding how to apply these archetypes.
I understood that everyone is different and some people tend to be more like one archetype as opposed to others; that based on my mentality and my ideals, values, feelings, goals, and desires, I fall into this category as opposed to that. It all made perfect sense, except for how does me knowing my label make me any better?
I turned to the book to find answers and then I came across this:

Old School Jam Of the Day #6

Sorry that I have not been posting the OSJD's lately but this past week has been banaynay...
anywho,
I did some thinking, and aside from all of the drama she has garnered recently and besides the fact that she and "controversy" are close friends, this woman has always stood up for her beliefs and has never sold out in order to make a quick buck. You can lover her or hate her but she will always be Lauren. Admirable? You decide.
Enough!

I dare you to tell me this wasnt the jam, 4th grade/5th grade. Dont be crazy

Old School Jam Of the Day #5

To relate to the Trait Based Leadership Theroy I picked this song because it somewhat fit the theme (if you use your imagination) and plus its a MASSIVE TUNE

side note: Had a fantastic time at OPERA and Luxe last night. ATL is LARGE

The Yays and Nays to Trait Based Leadership Theory

Before I go into the Pros and Cons of trait based leadership theory I think it is important to understand the theory itself. These assumptions will help set the groundwork.
-People are born with inherited traits.
-Some traits are particularly suited to leadership.
-People who make good leaders have the right (or sufficient) combination of traits.
And now the Pros and Cons

Traits to Sail the Treacherous Seas

Below are 3 of my favorite leaders.
From them, I have highlighted behavior traits in which enabled them to become successful leaders.

A Leadership Life 4 Me

Leadership is the art of influencing.
It is the ability to inspire others to do their best, give them purpose, guidance, and motivate them.
I feel that before a leader can be successful in dealing with others, they must be complete themselves.
Allow me to explain:

Leadership Images

I thought it would be interesting to put up some images of what I believe leadership means.
I was going to explain what each picture represented in my mind, but instead I am going to let you all use your imagination.

I love feedback so when you are moved and/or touched by my images ( and you will be ) please post your own images.
